VISCOSE
VISCOSE IS A FLUID AND DELICATE MATERIAL THAT REQUIRES SPECCIAL CARE.
Washing
During washing, we advise you to:
-
Hand wash in lukewarm or cold water.
-
Wash your garment inside out.
-
For some garments we recommend hand washing in cold water,
-
We specify this on the composition label when necessary.
-
We recommend gentle spin-drying; avoid wringing as much as possible.
Drying
When drying, we recommend :
Your garment will look cardboardy after washing, but don't worry, it will regain its suppleness after drying and ironing.
-
Do not use a tumble dryer.
-
Dry your clothes on hangers if possible.
Ironing
When ironing, we recommend :
-
Please iron your garment at a low setting (max. 110°), preferably on a damp garment or with a damp cloth.
-
Ironing is very important on viscose garments as they shrink after washing.
-
After washing you will have lost 1cm to 2.5cm in total length but you will regain the initial length after ironing.
The little trick
-
Washing powders and detergents (including bleach) are too aggressive for viscose garments, which can discolour them or create stains.
-
Bleaching is forbidden on viscose.
-
Dry cleaning is authorised
-
If your garment is stained, we recommend that you apply dry Marseilles soap to the stain and rub gently, then proceed to wash your garment.
