A few maintenance advice The Mesh The sweaters are fragile pieces : in order to maintain them as long as possible, here are some tips.

Choose the right detergent for the washing :

Most of the product used tend to damage the textiles fibers.

Careful

Only use a low dose of special wool detergent diluted in cold water.

Don't add neither fabric softener, nor bleaching agent.

This instructions are important to follow because :

Your sweater risks to lose its natural softness.

The little tip :

You can use shampoo for babies if you don't have the right detergent for manual washing.

Always favor a hand-washing :

Careful

Never make a ball with your sweater, it might be damage afterwards.

Use cold water and the appropriate detergent.

Don't let it soak to long.

Don't rub.

This instructions are important to follow because :

Hot water can shrink your sweater.

The rubbing can damage your sweater.

If you choose the washing machine :

The washing net is a good way to protect your sweater when washing.

Careful

Never make a ball with your sweater, it might damage it.

This instructions are important to follow because :

Your sweater might pill due to the frictions.

Your sweater might get damaged and tear.

The little tip :

If you don't have a washing net, you can use a pillowcase.

Dry flat :

The best way to dry your sweater out without deforming it is to softly lay it flat.

Careful

Never put the cashmere and the wool to the drying machine.

Never dry the sweaters on a hanger.

Keep your sweaters far away from a heat source, it will prevent
that it shrinks.

Lay the wet sweater flat.

This instructions are important to follow because :

The sweater might loosen up on the shoulders area

The sweater might hushed.

The little tip :

You can place your sweaters on a cotton towel. It allows the acceleration of the drying because the cotton will absorb the water restrained in the fibers.

Carefully iron your sweaters :

It isn't a necessary step but if needed here are some advice to protect at best your sweaters when ironning.

Careful

Iron your sweater turned upside down.

Use a damp laundry between the iron sole and the sweater.

Don't set your iron temparture too hot.

Don't press hard on the sewing.

This instructions are important to follow because :

The material can be burned.

Gloss can appear.

The little tip :

Favor a spray of water near you to ease the removal of wrinkled marks.

Your sweaters are precious Problems encountered

Remove the fluff and the pilling :

It is totally normal that pill appears when you wear your sweater. With the many frictions the fibers end up all tangled up on the surface.

Careful

Use an adapted rasor : proceed softly to not cut or tear the mesh.

Go up and down with the rasor.

This instructions are important to follow because :

Keep a new aspect as long as possible.

The little tip :

If you don't have a rasor anti-pill you can use a disposable rasor.

Put your sweater in a plastic bag and place it one night in the freezer.

The cold tighten the fibers and delay the appearance of pills.

You can also dab on the sweater with duct tape.

Lastly, you can use tweezers while manipulating it softly.

Control of moth :

Clothes moth love natural fibers as wool and cashmere. With numerous rubbing the fibers end up all tangled up on the surface.

Careful

Clean and air your closet regularly.

Only store clean clothes in your closet because the moth are drawed to sweat smell.

Use natural reppelent or essential oils (lavender flowers / bay flowers).

This instructions are important to follow because :

Moths settle and damage your clothes.

The little tip :

Create little tissue bags enclosing natural repellants : cedar / lavender / dry lemon skin.

Few maintenance advice The pant We tend to forget it but the different treatments used on our pants to soften them,
give them a worn-out look or on the contrary a raw look, make them difficult to maintain.
Therefore, here are our advise. First, think about referring to the tag.

First wash, fix the tinting :

On the first wash, before use, we advise, in order that the pant keeps its initial color as long as possible, to fix the dye the following way:

Let the pant soak for 2h in a basin of water (around two liters) added by four tablespoon of white vinegar or coarse salt. Then wash it in the washing machine on delicate cycle without spin, dry it layed flat.

Careful

Nothing can perfectly fix the indigo color of raw jeans and jeggings. This operation can reduce disgorgements but dyed indigo pants will always get washed out on the first 3 to 4 wash.

Washing maintenance :

For maintenance, use soft liquid detergent. We suggest a manual wash*, or washing machine in cold delicate program, or low temperature. Don't hesitate to wash it upside down to protect the color. (30° max), without spin. Then, let it dry layed flat, by avoiding the drying machine. A wash in the machine every five to six uses is enough.

This instructions are important to follow because :

The more the washing temperature is high the more the dye will disgorge

The spinning and drying in machine create marbling and break the tissue fibers therefore fragilise them

Too frequent wash wear out, tarnish and deform pants (especially the ones containing elastane), therefore you need to avoid washing them too often.

Powder detergent and bleach are too agressive for pants, it can bleach or create stains.

*Hand washing :

Soak the pant in a basin of water with a cap of white vinegar or a small dose of special denim detergent.

Let it soak for 45 minutes.

Rinse with cold water.

Spin very softly (without spinning it around) manually.

Dry it out layed flat so it dosen't deform itself.

* the iron :

It isn't advise to iron your jeans because it loosen up the fibers.

If the iron is allowed on your product, iron the pant upside down.

Avoid going over the sewing, it would flatten your jeans.

Favor a soft iron.

Few maintenance advice The viscose The viscose is a fluid and delicate texture which needs a particular care.

Wash :

When washing, we advise you :

Manual wash with warm water are cold.

Wash upside down your clothes.

For some clothes we recommend a cold water manual wash, we specify it on the composition tag when necessary.

We recommend a delicate spin, avoid to twist it as much as possible.

Drying :

When drying, we advise you :

Your clothes will have a stiff aspect after washing but don't worry it will get its flexibility after the drying and ironning.

Don't use a drying machine.

Dry your clothes on hangers if possible.

Ironning :

When ironning , we advise you :

Please iron your clothes with an low iron max 110° and prefer to do so on your damp clothes or with a press cloth.

Iron is very important on clothes in viscose because they shrink after being washed.

After washing it you would have lost from 1cm to 2.5cm in total length but you will get the initial length after ironning.

The little tip :

Powder detergent and bleach are too agressive for pants, it can bleach or create stains.

Bleaching isn't allowed on viscose

The dry cleaning is allowed

If your clothes is stained, we advise you to apply soap on the stain and softly rub, then proceed to wash your clothes.
